Highway schools shine in soccer tournament

LYNDHURST Primary School held its annual 7-a-side soccer tournament.

There were eight schools that participated, with 38 teams in total. The schools participating were John Wesley, Lyndhurst, Pinetown Senior, Westville Senior, Kloof Senior, Yellowwood, Woodlands and Berea West.

It was also the second year that U13 girls teams played in their own tournament.

The overall winners in each category were:

U13 girls – John Wesley School

U10 boys – Kloof Senior Primary School

U11 boys – Westville Senior Primary School

U12 boys – Kloof Senior Primary School

U13 boys – Pinetown Senior Primary School
