School principal Ivy Govender said Diwali was a perfect time for the learners to learn about the world around them from each other.
“We are a multiracial school with a variety of cultures, and that gives our learners exposure to different cultures. So, today, our learners came dressed in their cultural attire, and we had various plays and items where learners got the opportunity to teach about their cultures and also learn about other cultures,” she said.

The day ended with the learners dancing to music, and they were served with lunch.
