Contested Elkasico Cup action returns to Vosloorus Stadium

The Elkasico Cup Sports Network (ECSN) and sponsors officially launched the sixth bi-annual edition of the much-anticipated Elkasico Cup tournament at Hollywoodbets, Alberton, on March 22.

Elkasico is one of the fastest-growing tournaments in the Kathorus township and has returned to amuse soccer fans in and outside Kathorus this Easter long weekend at Vosloorus Stadium between March 29 and April 1.

The draw, done during the launch, means all 16 participating teams know who their opponents are.

Present at the launch were prominent names in the sporting fraternity, including SuperSport commentator Motlogeleng Gininda, president of FootGolf SA Norman Phake, the vice-president of SAFA Ekurhuleni and chairperson of the Volsoorus Football Association, Jabu Nkosi, and Orlando Pirates legend Jerry Skhosana.

According to the ECSN co-founder, marketing and sponsorship official, Kefentse Moagi, sponsors like Hollywoodbets, Vodacom, Flash, 1Voucher, and PrinceMed EMS make it easier for them to forge paths filled with opportunities for upcoming football stars, and they will forever be grateful.
