VLFA celebrates champions in pix

The key for moving forward is that VLFA wants to see more players from Vosloorus and the greater Kathorus making it into the mainstream national teams.

Vosloorus Local Football Association (VLFA) honoured league champions, runner-ups and referees at J Dumani Hall, on February 11.

These photographs were captured during the league awards ceremony.

VLFA deputy chairperson Lebohang Molotsi believes they did extremely well in terms of the strategic objectives they set out.

Molotsi said more players and club officials are seeing the edge and the necessity to participate in the VLFA.

He said they are seeing a strong resurgence of people re-joining the league, given the fact that the football community was affected by the Covid-19 pandemic for the past two to three years.

“Since the Covid-19 regulations have been lifted, we are seeing more people returning to the stadium. I think this is an achievement for us as the executive,” said Molotsi.

He said one of the key highlights moving forward is that they want to see more players from Vosloorus and the greater Kathorus making it into the mainstream national team structures.
