Holi One Colour Festival

On May 1, Huddle Park Golf and Recreation Club in Linksfield will explode in a world of colour as the Holi One Colour Festival kicks off for yet another year of joy.

Sharing the same message of hope and positivity as the Hindu holiday of Holi, this non-religious festival aims to unite thousands in an event that blends music, dance, visuals and performance art. Festivals are held around the world on every continent, including Africa, Australia, America, the Middle East, Asia and Europe.

Party-goers dressed in white soon find themselves united through a rainbow of colours as every hour, on the hour, a countdown begins, signalling the throwing of brightly coloured, eco-friendly powder that fills the air.

Tickets start at R250 a person for general access, with special colour packages also offered at R350 a person for general access plus five bags of powder. Tickets can be purchased via Nutickets.

Doors will open at noon and the celebrations will continue until 10pm.
