Acting classes for children to begin soon
Tembisa-based television and stage actor, writer, director and choreographer, Mr Oupa Malatjie, has opened his wings wider to help nurture young talent in the township.
He has opened the very first classes to teach children between the ages of 10 and 16 dancing, acting and singing.
He is appealing to parents and guardians in the township to register their children for classes. The classes will be held at the Moses Molelekwa Art Centre in Tembisa and will run from 8:30am to 1pm from February 1.
Mr Malatjie is a seasoned actor who is currently playing the character of Unkel in the Lokshin Bioskop comedy titled Unkel and Sticks. Some of his highlits include featuring in dramas like Obed the teacher in One More Time, playing Gobela the Sangoma in Pastor Bhande, Alpheus Dlamini in Rhythm City, Mdule in Clean Break and many more.
