EFF invites residents to land and housing meeting
The meeting is organised by the EFF's Ekurhuleni North region and will address housing and land challenges
THE EFF’s Ekurhuleni North region invites residents to attend a land and housing meeting on September 16 at 2pm at Rabasotho Hall in Tembisa.
The meeting is open to all regardless of political affiliation and will address housing and land challenges, including house evictions, title deeds and stand registration.
“This is a follow up meeting from a housing imbizo we had on July 30, where issues such as people being evicted from their informal settlement homes in areas around Tembisa were discussed, as well people who had registered for and bought stands still having no houses given to them,” EFF’s Ekurhuleni North sub-regional coordinator, Khumbulani Stefans, said.
The meeting will be attended by a team of EFF lawyers and EFF MPLs (Members of Provincial Legislature).
