The director of Happiness Youth Group, Mr Junior Keetse, is calling on all performing artists in and around Tembisa to attend the Happiness Tembisa Heritage Celebration to be held at the Moses Molelekwa Art Centre, next to the ZCC Church on September 24, 2014.

He said there are more than 20 groups that will take part in the inaugural event.

He also pointed out that the main aim for organising the event is to raise money for the group, as they will represent Tembisa in Mpumalanga from October 5 to September 7.

“Even though the event is part and parcel of celebrating Heritage Day, we would also like to raise money for our trip to Mpumalanga. We are calling on all art lovers and members of the public at large to attend in big numbers and help the youngsters to realise their dreams in the industry,” he said.

Happines Youth Group will showcase its talents in drama, kofifi dance, poetry and gumboot dance.

Some members of the group who will grace the event are Cello as Took Theatre Group, Vukani youth development, Ukhamba Performing Artists and the Zero to Nero Theatre Group.

The admission fee is R10.
