Hirsch’s hosts women’s networking event in Tembisa

You don’t always need what you think you need to start a business

Hirsch’s Meadowdale recently hosted its first women’s networking morning at the Oasis of Life Family Church in Tembisa.

Women from across the township gathered at the church, ready to be inspired by guest speaker for the morning, Matshepo Sematle.

Matshepo is a public and motivational speaker, life coach and presenter involved in a network marketing business. She believes that positive words spoken can change one’s life. She speaks with people in churches, communities and events.

Matshepo provided the women with some background on herself and how she came to be a motivational speaker.

“You don’t always need what you think you need to start a business. As long as you believe in yourself and follow your dreams, opportunities will arise. Grab them with both hands and work at them every day,” said Matshepo.

Commented Letitia Haywood, PRO for Hirsch’s Meadowdale, on the concept behind holding the event: “One of our regular networkers from Tembisa suggested that we host a networking event in Tembisa. The interest we received when we made the announcement public far exceeded our expectations.

“With over 50 women attending and the council supporting us with this event, shows how badly people want to create their own success stories. Tembisa will see us again and we look forward to inspiring more people to turn their dreams into a reality.”
