Volunteers wanted for Manger Care Centre

Management Care Centre is a non-profit organisation looking for volunteers to join the board.

Manger Care Centre, a non-profit organisation, is looking to further develop its governance structure by recruiting two or more new members to serve on its board. This is a voluntary, unpaid role.

Nominations are sought from the following sectors:

Finance and accounting

Fund-raising and donor development

Operations management

Marketing

Legal.

Nominees should submit a letter of motivation, a CV and the names and contact details of two references to andrew@mangercare.co.za, with ‘Board Member Application’ in the email subject line.

Successful candidates will:

Share MCC’s passion to cultivate a caring and loving environment that enables positive upliftment and empowerment.

Be in good standing in their professional fields and/or in networks, and have demonstrated leadership in their fields of engagement.

Be willing to dedicate a substantial amount of time to the governance of Manger Care Centre on a voluntary basis.

Offer the possibility, through their engagement as board members, of expanding Manger Care Centre’s reach by engaging directly with influencers, policy makers and funding networks.

Nominations will be accepted until August 31. Nominations received after that date will not be considered. Before making a final decision about candidates to be appointed, interviews will be held with shortlisted candidates. Manger Care Centre reserves the right not to make any appointments of directors.
