Masase donates school uniforms to learners
The school uniform donation that benefited 110 disadvantaged learners took place on August 8.
Ten learners from Mashimong and Moriting primary schools have received full school uniforms from Masase Transfers & Tours on August 8.
According to the founder and owner of Masase Transfers & Tours, Christopher Tahula, since their company is based in the City of Ekurhuleni, they thought it will be best to support needy children in their schools.
“We know that there are a huge number of children who face numerous obstacles to go to school dressed in full proper uniform due to family backgrounds. As a company, we wanted to meet the children’s families and the schools halfway and at least help where possible. Giving a uniform reduces school absenteeism and boosts the learners’ self-esteem and be able to fit in and play freely,” said Tahula.

Tahula added the company has been involved in several donations around Gauteng, reaching out to needy people.
“We’ve just started donating to Tembisa and we are hoping to bring more change and touch the lives of deprived families. We are encouraging local business people in Ekurhuleni to join us in giving back to the community. There’s a lot that needs to be done. We hope the learners work hard and excel at the end of the year to make us proud,” added Tahula.
Mashimong Primary School head of department Lucas Modiba said they are privileged that the company assisted the children who were really in need of a school uniform.
“We would like to thank Masase Transfers & Tours for the special donation. Hopefully, they will extend their helping hand to other needy institutions,” added Modiba.
