Lend a hand to the less fortunate this festive season

Appreciate the gift of giving with MES this festive season.

MES Kempton Park would like to make the upcoming festive season special for those less fortunate.

“We will run a special Christmas campaign from November to December and encourage everyone to join hands with us,” Aloma Swanepoel, marketing manager for the organisation, told Express.

According to her, the shelter caters for almost 50 clients, while the canteen can provide lunch to 60 clients from Monday to Friday.

“Our after-school programme has 25 children registered and the Grow Job Rehabilitation Programme has between 16 to 20 participants registered per week,” she added.

Residents and businesses who would like to make a contribution during the Christmas drive can, for example, sponsor a lunch or dinner, send gifts aimed at a specific programme or make cash donations.

Contact Luwanda Conco or Aloma Swanepoel on 011 024 4580 or kempton@mes.org.za for more information.
