Solidarity Helping Hand is hosting a charity golf day at Kempton Park Golf Club on November 1 to raise funds for bursaries for underprivileged children.
The community organisation focuses on upliftment by means of training. Helping Hand originated in 1949 to help alleviate the destitution of mine workers and is now helping young people to prepare for the world of work.
All funds raised will be used to the benefit of children on the East Rand.
