Siphiwe Masuku is crowned Miss Face of Tembisa
Miss Face of Tembisa 2018 was crowned at Sam Hlalele Community Hall.
Scores of young people flocked to the Sam Hlalele Community Hall to witness the crowning of Miss Face of Tembisa 2018 on September 8.
Marketing director and co-founder of Miss Face of Tembisa Itumeleng Malatji said they were crowning their second Miss Face of Tembisa in the second edition of the annual event.
He said the event was a success.
“At first we were worried about the weather but at the end the turnout was great.
“We really appreciate the parents coming to support the event.
“The support we got from Tembisa residents is overwhelming,” said Malatji.
He said the event started last year and, looking at this years’ event, there is much improvement.
“We value growth and prosperity in building others.
“We focus on things that will secure a brighter future for the girls who participate.
“Miss Face of Tembisa wins a scholarship to go and study,” said Malatji.
He thanked every sponsor who made the event a success.
Treasurer of Miss Face of Tembisa Nosipho Majola said the girls did a sterling job and it paid off as they have been practising for months.
She appealed to sponsors to continue supporting the event.
Khinyisile Nkonjwa was crowned as Miss Personality, the second princess was Nkele Mosupi, the first princess was Nthabiseng Mosupi and Siphiwe Masuku was crowned Miss Face of Tembisa 2018.
