According to William Ntladi, Ekurhuleni emergency services spokesperson, they received a call just after 7pm.
He said 10 patients sustained minor injuries and six serious injuries. All patients were transported to hospital in a stable condition.
Ntladi said when they arrived on the scene there was no sign of a fire. Various fire engines were on the scene.
