Passenger ejected in R21 accident, two critical

Two men were critically injured in an accident on the R21 near Boksburg on Friday afternoon.

According to Shawn Herbst from Netcare 911, the accident happened at around 1.30pm, involving a light delivery vehicle and a car.

The passenger of the bakkie was ejected from the vehicle.

“Paramedics assessed the scene and found both men in the bakkie sustained critical injuries and required advanced life support intervention. Once treated and stabilised, both patients were transported to hospital by ambulance,” said Herbst.

The driver of the car was in a stable condition.
