Hollywoodbets donates soccer kits to Ivory Mighty Stars FC

The kits are really appreciated and they are very helpful to the team and it will boost the boys’ confidence

Hollywoodbets Kempton Park donated soccer kits to Ivory Mighty Stars FC from Ivory Park on May 24.

The donation came after Ivory Mighty Stars FC applied to be helped by Hollywoodbets in terms of soccer kits.Lebogang Mkasi, the marketing assistant, said the team was started in 2009. The club is home to approximately 150 players in six different team levels. They host practice sessions four times weekly and started the club with the aim of helping to get young people off the streets and doing something healthy. They are proud of the fact that they won the Phillips Tournament in 2012.

“The Hollywoodbets Kempton Park branch decided to support the club because they needed playing gear and had no sponsors,” said Mkasi.

“We didn’t have any kit at all but now we can represent ourselves through this Hollywoodbets kit. The new kit means a great deal to the players’’ said Khoza, the club’s coach and manager.

Caroline Basaimisi, the club’s chairperson, said they heard that Hollywoodbets was helping teams so they requested to be helped.

“The kits are really appreciated and they are very helpful to the team and it will boost the boys’ confidence,” said Basaimisi.
