Considering the magnitude of Tembisa, the second biggest township in South Africa, The Tembisan added another journalist to make sure we reach every corner of Tembisa.
Mbekezeli Mbuli is our new journalist who will make sure The Tembisan fully represents the voice of the people.
Having worked in the media fraternity for over 15 years, Mbuli said he is always eager to learn and is looking forward to grow with the paper while working closely with Tembisa residents.
Mbuli holds a qualification in journalism from the Institute for the Advancement in Journalism (AIJ).
“I am happy and excited to be part of this community newspaper and look forward to working and serving the Tembisa community with nothing but pride and excellence,” said Mbuli.
He sees himself as a bridge and a messenger of the people and therefore he will always be available. “I am not going to promise you sunny or rainy weather but I promise to listen and authentically tell your stories to the best of my ability. Whenever I know something, you will also be informed,” said Mbuli.
