Kempton SPCA in need of dog jerseys

The society is in need of dog jerseys to help keep the dogs in the kennels warm during the cold season.

The cold front on Friday was hard felt by many and it was a definitely reminder that winter is here.

It had people adding more layers of clothing among other things in an effort to keep warm.

Jerseys are among the items of clothing that we need during winter and the same need for jerseys applies for the dogs at Kempton Park SPCA.

The society is in need of dog jerseys to help keep the dogs in the kennels warm during the cold season.

Although there are dogs with jerseys, there are also those that don’t have and the society appeals to the community to assist by donating dog jerseys.

“The sizes needed are large, medium and extra extra small for the tiny puppies. We have 120 kennels with two dogs in some of the kennels and any form of donation would be highly appreciated,” said Kempton Park SPCA’s Charmaine Joubert.

Anyone who would like to donate can donate at the SPCA situated on Fitter Road in Spartan.
