Youth welcomed at the royal palace

'I am not a chief of the Ndebele people only, but of everyone'

The Ndzundza Macingwane Traditional Council’s doors will be kept wide open for all young people who wish to improve their lives.

This is an invitation of the Ekurhuleni-based Ndebele leader, Inkosi Macingwane II, to the youth of Tembisa as he addressed them during the June 16 Youth Day at the royal house at Mqantsa Section on Sunday.

“I want you to know that being a royal chief doesn’t make me a boss. Believe me when I say that I am your servant. I am here to serve you and your needs and interests. It is for this reason that I want to reassure all of you that my doors will always be opened for you,” said Macingwane II.

“I am not a chief of the Ndebele people only, but of everyone. And so, for those of you who want to make your lives better, or are in need of tertiary fees, come to the royal house. I am not saying we have all the money in the world to help you, but we will help where we can,” he said.
