Hospice charity shop in Aston Manor welcomes volunteers and donations
Kotie wishes to express her gratitude toward the community of Kempton Park that regularly donates items for re-sale.
The manager of the East Rand Hospice charity shop in Aston Manor, Kotie Clack (69), has been the manager of this branch the past five years.
Prior to her time in Kempton Park she worked at another East Rand Hospice shop for three years.
Laura Kirsten, Hospice East Rand spokesperson, said: “Kotie absolutely loves working in that environment and she is very grateful to her volunteers who faithfully support her.”
Kirsten expressed her gratitude towards the community of Kempton Park that regularly donates items for re-sale in store.
Clack said: “I would welcome the assistance of more volunteers for the shop.”
Volunteers who offer their time at the shop are expected to help with collecting and unpacking supplies, lend a hand by putting donated clothes on hangers for display, as well as organising donated items.
Clack encourages the community to continue their generosity in contributing items to the shop. These donations certainly assist Hospice East Rand to accomplish its goals for their patient care in the area.
