OR Tambo Airport appoints new highly skilled senior manager

At the SA Revenue Services she drove outreach programmes and at the Department of Trade and Industry she specialised in international marketing.

Betty Maloka has been appointed senior manager: corporate affairs at OR Tambo International Airport.

Maloka has 16 years experience in the marketing and communications field, and has worked with leading private entities in mining, consulting engineering and the public sector.

At the SA Revenue Service (Sars) she drove outreach programmes and at the Department of Trade and Industry she specialised in international marketing.

Maloka was previously head of the strategic communication and stakeholder engagement for a global aerospace and defence company. She also played a significant role in some flagship projects, including the inaugural BRICS Summit in South Africa and the launch of the BRICS Business Council.

She holds a postgraduate qualification in marketing management and completed her B-Tech in international communication at the then Pretoria Technikon (now Tshwane University of Technology).
