Teaching the youth about a clean environment
'This a community service aimed at keeping our township clean.'
Rabbi Letageng Youth Foundation changes the face of environmental hygiene in the township.
Founder of the foundation Rabbi Letageng said he aims to dispel the notion that recycling and cleaning the environment is only for dirty people.
“When we clean the environment we wear bright and colourful clothes to show young people one does not have to be dirty to take care of their environment.
“This a community service aimed at keeping our township clean.
“I gather young people from different cultures to work together on this good cause,” said Letageng.
He said their first cleaning was on June 22, but it will continue throughout July to celebrate Mandela Month.
