Motorists warned of delays along Route R114 north of Jhb

Motorists are advised to make use of an alternative route via the N14 (P158/2) or Malibongwe Drive.

Motorists can expect delays along Route R114 between Diepsloot and Muldersdrift due to road works.

According to Department of Roads and Transport spokesperson Theo Nkonki, the contractor has commenced works on two sections of the road and has introduced 24-hours stop and go controls for about four kilometres.

The stop and go controls, lasting about 20 minutes, can be expected just before Cedar Road (D1027) and after Malibongwe Drive, near Nooitgedacht Primary School.

Roadworks will take place on these sections until November 30.

Motorists are advised to make use of an alternative route via the N14 (P158/2) or Malibongwe Drive.
