Driver disappears after crashing through Norkem Park wall

A driver who crashed through a complex’s wall in the early hours of Sunday morning absconded from the scene of the accident.
Shawn Herbst, spokesperson for Netcare 911, said the accident happened shortly after 1am on Mooifontein Road in Norkem Park.

“Reports from the scene indicated the driver lost control of the car, crashing through a complex wall. Upon arrival, no patient could be found and it was believed the patient absconded,” said Herbst.
The scene was handed over to the authorities.
