GAS Entertainment will be launching a monthly event called The Intimate Sessions on October 5.
GAS Entertainment will be launching a monthly event called The Intimate Sessions on October 5.
The event will start at 1pm, with good vibes and music, as one of the organisers described it.
“We call all people who have their own clothing line or who are into art (paintings, drawings and tattoos, etc.). Any brand,” said Gift Mhlongo, event organiser.
“This will give other up-and-coming small businesses enough exposure to showcase their capabilities for free. We understand that it is hard to start a brand, especially when it comes to the financial side of things, and one requires support locally before breaking into higher levels,” added Mhlongo.
“We plan and hope to host 300 to 400 people at this 14-hour event. The entrance is free. There will be food stalls as well,” said Mhlongo.
Sabelo Mkhaliphi, co-organiser, said the GAS Entertainment crew sat down and figured out what is actually missing from their surrounding neighbourhood.
“We have attended, and are still attending, a lot of events. We figured out that these type of events are missing, especially in Ivory Park.
“The event is all about positive vibes, intimate conversations, meet-and-greet, fashion lovers, good food and good music,” said Mkhaliphi.
“The Intimate Sessions is an event where strangers feel like they have known each other for a very long time.
“The Intimate Sessions caters to everyone above the age of 18. By everyone, I mean even those who are wanted home by 6pm. They will be covered because the event starts at 1pm,” added Mkhaliphi.
“People should expect a nice chill-out session, good setup, and a great line-up of DJs and performers. A sound from different genres, like deep house, Afro house, amapiano, hip-hop and R&B,” explains Mkhaliphi.
The Intimate Sessions will be on October 5 at 15512 Letsoalo Street, Ivory Park, Midrand.
