Bredell man crushed between forklift and truck
Netcare 911 responded to the scene around 9.30am.
A 26-year-old man was airlifted in Bredell on Wednesday morning following an industrial accident.
According to Shawn Herbst, spokesperson for Netcare 911, the man was crushed between a forklift and truck at a factory on 7th Avenue.
He said Netcare 911 responded to the scene around 9.30am.
“The patient was assessed and found to have sustained critical injuries and required advanced life support intervention to stabilise him.”
Due to the nature of his injuries, the Netcare 911 air ambulance was activated to airlift him to hospital.
