Terenure girl (6) suffers head trauma as wall collapses on top of her

Emer-G-Med and an advanced life support team transported her to hospital.

A six-year-old Terenure girl suffered head injuries when a precast wall collapsed on her on Sunday.

The accident happened at a private residence on Landery Curve in Terenure around noon.

According to Sec Pros medical respondent Stephan Henderson, the little girl stood on a small chair to greet the neighbours. As she hung on the wall, slabs broke and fell on her.

He said the child was in a stable condition when Emer-G-Med and an advanced life support team transported her to hospital.

Emer-G-Med’s chief operating officer, Jurgen Kotze, said the girl suffered significant trauma to her head, including a skull fracture.
