Miss Ivory Park Refined urges businesses for support
Beauty pageant to help care centres reach their mission through their stationery drive.
Miss Ivory Park Refined is currently running a Miss Ivory Park Refined back to school stationery drive to help reach underprivileged children in homes based in Tembisa.
The initiative aims at giving back to the disadvantaged children and giving them an opportunity to go to school with resources that will enable them to receive good quality education.
Current Miss Ivory Park Refined 2019/2020 Nketli Sebelebele said the stationery drive is a way of giving back to the community, as their slogan says – they touch the community they serve.
“The drive officially runs from December 1 till January. Anyone who wants to donate can call the founders of the pageant, Valencia Mathabela on 083 954 5481 or Genolia Madonsela on 071 866 5745.
“The collected stationery will be donated to Tshepang Home Care Centre in Vusimuzi and Bulamahlo Home Care Centre in Difateng. We are also requesting local businesses to lend a hand to make this drive a success because we believe it takes a village to raise a child. Your donations will be highly appreciated,” concluded Sebelebele.
