Parts of Kempton Park to be without power on Saturday
The work, aimed at stabilising the network in the area and is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 22 from 09:00 to 16:30.
The City of Ekurhuleni’s technicians will perform emergency work on the 66kv substation in Kempton Park which will result in a power supply interruption.

The work, aimed at stabilising the network in the area, is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 22, from 09:00 to 16:30.
Affected streets include:
• Parts of Kempton Park CBD including Maxwell Road, Schoeman, Casuarina, Greyilla, North Rand, Kerk and Long Street
• Parts of Rhodesfield, Kittyhawk, Gladiator, Fortress, Fulmar and Halifax Road
• In2 Foods
• ACSA
• Sky Park
• Comair
Residents are urged to treat all electrical networks as live at all times, while maintenance work is ongoing.
