The flying squad arrested two people in separate operations involving counterfeit goods, bribery and robbery.

Benoni Flying Squad members arrested two people between June 15 and 16.

On Sunday, information led officers to Lavender Street, Bakerton, Springs. There, they arrested a 42-year-old man who had counterfeit branded shoes and clothing valued at about R20 000 in his possession.

Members also charged him with bribery after he offered them money for his release. Officers seized the goods and cash as exhibits.
