Thato One Big Family LGBTQI+ invites the community to join the festivities at the third annual Tembisa Pride.
The event on December 2 at Mehlareng Stadium in Motheong Section, Thembisa, promises a day of unity, visibility, and pride for the LGBTQI+ community.
Under the banner of Thato One Big Family LGBTQI+, the organisers invite all community members to come together and celebrate the rich tapestry of LGBTQI+ identities.

The event aims to create an inclusive space where diversity is acknowledged and celebrated.
According to one of the founders, Khosi Buthelezi, the organisers envision Tembisa Pride as more than just an event; it is a platform to foster understanding, acceptance, and solidarity in the community.
“Reflecting the theme of ‘One big family’, we emphasise the importance of creating a sense of belonging for everyone, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. Tembisa Pride encourages open dialogue and promotes a culture of acceptance, respect, and love.

“As the LGBTQI+ community and its allies come together on December 2, Tembisa Pride not only marks a celebration of identity but also stands as a testament to the strength found in unity.
