Thembisa artist excited to drop new music in December
A reserved individual, music became Mosehla’s voice and a powerful expression of his stories and experiences through his lyrics.
At just 20 years old, Tshegofatso Mosehla has embarked on a meaningful journey in the music industry.
His passion for hip-hop began at the age of 14.
A reserved individual, music became Mosehla’s voice and a powerful expression of his stories and experiences through his lyrics.
Over the past seven years, Mosehla’s family, friends and a growing social media following, who promote his music through streaming and word-of-mouth, supported him.

One of his most significant allies in the industry is Brazzo Raps, a high school friend with whom he shared countless conversations about their mutual love of music.
Mosehla acknowledged that challenges are inevitable when pursuing one’s craft.
“The challenge musicians face is a lack of motivation, especially for upcoming artists.
“Many I started with gave up because they felt the industry wasn’t doing enough for them or weren’t seeing the streams they’d hoped for. This can lead to discouragement and quitting,” he said.
“I stay motivated by reminding myself of the [Steve Jobs] saying, ‘When you’re doing something you love, you don’t need to be pushed; the vision pulls you’.”
Looking ahead, Mosehla will release a new project in December, collaborating with producer MvedaLa Soul.
2024 was a milestone for him, marked by increased streams and a larger fan base.

Balancing music and education, he has learnt to manage his time effectively.
“I know which days I need to focus on music and which days are for school,” he said.
For those doubting their dreams, he offers encouragement inspired by Nelson Mandela: “A winner is a dreamer who never gives up. Keep pushing, and remember that failure isn’t the opposite of success; it’s a part of it.”
