Marketgoer Lindokuhle Cebekulu expressed her enthusiasm.

“I love markets. I haven’t bought anything yet, but I love what I see. There’s so much to choose from; food, clothes, skincare products, and the cotton candy was really good.”

The event wasn’t just about shopping.

Fellow attendee Christine Ras enjoyed browsing the variety on offer.

“The market is great. I love attending events like this there’s so much to see, and it’s interesting to learn how people market and sell their products. The biltong really caught my eye today.”

Vendors themselves supported each other, purchasing goods from neighbouring stalls and building a sense of community.

Miley Brooks, helping her mother run their family stall, shared her appreciation for the market.

“It went well. My mom is helping us earn some extra money. Some people just browse, but others do buy, and for that we’re grateful.”

The Golden Classics market not only created a platform for small businesses but also fostered community spirit, learning, and support proving that local markets are more than just places to shop.
