Muscle Tower Gym in Thembisa recently partnered with local stakeholders for a Youth Month celebration, giving back to the community on Youth Day, June 16

Muscle Tower Gym in Thembisa teamed up with local stakeholders to celebrate Youth Month by giving back to the less privileged.

On June 16, the organisation donated clothes and served food to community members as a token of appreciation for their ongoing support during the gym’s recent beauty contest event and other activities.

The event took place at Aromat near Madelakufa, where a large number of community members gathered to celebrate.

The donations were part of Youth Day celebrations — a nationwide annual event honouring young people.

Miyelani Manganyi, ambassador of Muscle Tower Gym, explained the significance of the soup kitchen.

“This is our second soup kitchen this year, the first being in February. We chose to hold it today because it’s a public holiday, and Aromat was selected for its proximity to people most in need.

“Above all, it was an opportunity to celebrate Youth Day and give back to the community that continually supports us during our events.”

Local resident Lethukuthula Maswana shared his gratitude.

“When I woke up today, I didn’t expect much — just a normal day. But seeing what’s happening here is amazing. I received a nice pair of shoes along with bread and soup, which is a wonderful gesture from Muscle Tower Gym.”

Those who generously donated their old clothes are helping keep Thembisa’s spirit alive during challenging economic times.

To ensure the event ran smoothly, Muscle Tower Gym partnered with Oner Hosting, whose support was key in bringing the celebration to life.
