Fatal bike crash closes R21 south after Pomona on-ramp

A fatal crash occurred on the R21 southbound, just after the Pomona on-ramp, involving a motorbike this afternoon, November 13.

According to the EMPD, an unidentified male, believed to be between 20 and 30 years old, succumbed to his injuries at the scene following what is suspected to be a hit-and-run incident.

All lanes remain closed as emergency services and law enforcement attend to the scene.

Motorists are advised to approach the area with caution and to use the Pomona off-ramp as an alternative route.
