The City of Ekurhuleni will implement a waste removal recovery plan on Saturday, December 6, following continued interruptions to waste collection services in Kempton Park and parts of Thembisa.

Residents in the affected areas are advised to put out their waste bins and any excess refuse bags for collection on Saturday morning.

The City confirmed that internal negotiations with stakeholders are still underway in an effort to find a long-term solution to the ongoing challenges.
