The devices help enhance personal safety during patrols while also providing objective evidence of incidents and interactions.
They also promote transparency and accountability, assist with incident reporting and investigations, and help protect patrollers against false allegations.
The Kempton Park CPF is a partnership between the SAPS and the community, aimed at improving crime prevention, increasing visibility and strengthening cooperation between residents, businesses and law enforcement.
Sector 2 members expressed their appreciation for the donation, noting that support from local businesses helps empower patrollers, improve accountability and contribute to a safer community.
