I do not agree with Mr Wypkema’s statements regarding the provision of folateng facilities at Kempton Park Hospital.
Arwyp is a private business concern and is obviously concerned about the possibility of losing a small piece of patient market share due to the establishment of folateng facilities.
Going into much detail about nurses training and equipment is a lot of hogwash and is not relevant, Arwyp is out to make money and that is their bottom line.
By objecting to folateng facilities at Kempton Park Hospital, he is depriving those of us on lower medical aid plans to such facilities locally.
By stating that they would be prepared to discuss the possibility of opening a folateng-type private partnership type facility at Arwyp is good and well but what about the associated doctor’s fees?
My medical aid has a package which includes both folateng facilities and doctor’s fees.
