Conned by appliance man

I had a very upsetting experience with a business trading advertising electrical appliance and plumbing repairs who advertise its services in a booklet.

They advertise 24/7 same day service. In my case this became eight days.

The appliance in question appeared to be in working order after they had finished with it and I paid the amount agreed upon. It was only when I went to use it that I discovered that it was not working as it should.

I tried to contact the manager to complain but all the cell numbers given were answered by the person who had carried out the repairs. I tried the land line as advertised, 011-039-2261, to no avail. Upon checking with Telkom I found it did not exist nor did the Kempton Park business address I was given.

I have landed up as I started with a faulty appliance and financially a lot poorer.
