With reference to Antoinette Pieterse’s letter, “Spar people help again”, (Express November 28), allow me to add some flowers to the bouquets being showered on the staff of Edleen Spar.
A few Saturday mornings ago, I noticed one of Spar’s managers in the doorway of the shop holding a husky-type dog on a leash while its owner was shopping.
That is truly going the extra mil” for a customer! Later, the same manager patiently directed me when I was battling to get out of a tight parking space.
Bravo! Applause all round, take a bow, people of Spar.
