Has this spokesman never heard of forward planning?
As an example, if an employee gives a month’s notice, this is for an employer to replace that person within a month.
Can the metro not have a system in place to control contracts which are due to expire in at least six months time and appoint new contractors during this time?
So, if company A completes the contact on December 31 and it is not renewed, company B will then take over on January 3.
Please, could this spokesman explain this to us as other areas must be affected as well.
