Please take note that the wedding ceremony conducted by Fr Oliver Felix of the White Robed Monks is not sanctioned by the Catholic Church, which does not permit same sex marriages under any condition.
The sect known as the White Robed Monks of St Benedict is not in communion with the One Holy, Catholic and Apostolic church founded by Jesus Christ, and I therefore through the medium of this publication wish to publicise these facts.
The Roman Catholic Church, under the leadership of His Holiness Pope Francis, does not discriminate on the grounds of sex, colour, race, religion, language or culture and if a person wants to be a Catholic, then that person willingly and with a clear conscience accepts the tenets of the Church, which only permits marriage between a male and a female.
What folk do in their personal, public and private lives is their business and I am not offering a criticism of anybody’s behaviour, but I cannot allow the Catholic Church to be associated with this sect, the White Robed Monks of St Benedict.
