ON Saturday morning, April 26 my Sani caught fire near Flame on the corner of Green Avenue and CR Swart Drive on the way to the golf club.
I would like to thank the four guys in a big van and a guy in a Springbok shirt for their help with their fire extinguishers. Also, JB from Global Autobody, who got me to the club, complete with burnt out Nissan in tow, together with his wife and baby.
Thanks also to the emergency services for their response and thank you to the person who called them.
Lastly, thanks to my club mates for their comments like “I believe you set the course on fire today!” and “Your putter was hot today!”
