The metro newsletter again addressed the issue of saving water. Very important for a dry South Africa.
A pity they do not lead by example.
There is a broken pipe discharging water in the park near the corner of Wildevy andVygie Streets. I reported it on April 23, followed up May 7 and again on June 24, yet nothing had been done.
Much to the delight of the local birds there is a band of marsh across to Ouhout Street. If not repaired soon the mosquitos will have extensive breading grounds.
How much water does it take to make a marsh? Perhaps a small dam’s worth? Please conserve our water.
