Senior thanks Jeugland for great show

You are the champions

BARBARA HAYMAN writes:

On October 13, the Senior Citizens of Kempton Park were royally entertained by the pupils of Hoërskool Jeugland.

They did a vibrant and colourful musical show. The costumes were gorgeous and the choreography was really stunning.

Hats off to the producers who managed, so successfully, to get about 100 boys and girls on the stage at one time, singing and dancing in perfect unison. No mean feat!

I liked the “Vegas style” seating arrangements too, about 12 comfy seats around a small table. It enabled us to sit and enjoy the show with our own circle of friends.

I would like to commend a few of the performers who were outstanding and showed so much talent but unfortunately no pupils’ names were mentioned. May I please suggest that for future shows, a simple programme be placed at each table, giving the names of the main performers of each act.

Nevertheless, I will mention one young man who led well over one hundred boys and girls in the number Somebody to love. Young man, you know who you are.

Well done, you have a voice in a million!

On behalf of all the seniors who attended the show, congratulations to you all, and thank you so much.

You are the champions!
