Fireworks: Who do you call for help?

So, take responsibility, as people don’t care about the law

JE CALDWELL writes:

Okay, so l read the first letters in response to my letter on fireworks and decided to just let it be, as everyone has the right to their opinion.

However, in response to Steve du Toit’s letter in last week’s EXPRESS, I wish to place the following on record.

Firstly, I am not a young, immature, party-going individual but in fact a mother/granny of 70, who has never had a drink or cigarette in my life, and do not go to parties.

I am and always have been a law abiding Citizen, in fact, to a point of being painful to my family.

But I am not sure where you are living but I am living in a country where people disregard the law like an old rag, and the sad part is they get away with it.

So, my letter was merely directed to all of us to take precaution as we simply cannot rely on the law being up-held. Who do you phone? Who do you call for help when your animals and children are hurting?

So, take responsibility, as people don’t care about the law.
