The letter regarding motorbike noise in Aston Manor refers.
Clearly the writer of this letter is not a well-educated person and lacks integrity.
Firstly, you’re not an officer of the law to enforce any law on public road users. You’re also not a medical doctor to clarify that road users are under the influence of alcohol.
Secondly, the noise level law for vehicles on public roads in Kempton Park fell away as the Kempton Park vehicle test centre does not have a calibrated decibel reading meter to read the noise level in a residential area.
Thirdly, do you realise that Aston Manor is in line with one of the runways of OR Tambo Airport? No motorbike manufacturer has yet built a motorbike that has a louder noise level than a passenger aircraft taking off.
I suggest you stop bragging about the upper-class area where you live. I would rather be more concerned about the high crime rate in your area since Aston Manor has one of the highest crime levels in Gauteng.
And, by the way, some of today’s motorbikes cost more than some of the properties in Aston Manor.
So please, next time when you write a letter, put your name with it so people can start suing you for Crimen Injuria.
