IT is with absolute disgust that I would like to mention the UIF office in Kempton Park.
My pregnant daughter recently tried to get her paperwork done for UIF. She is in her last trimester.
All the offices turned her away as they close their doors at noon for the day. The MR working at the Kempton office said to her, on her entering his office, to find out where she must go, to get out.
He shouted at her, so she stepped back. Standing by the door, she asked again where she must go. She was told to join the queue, which was out the building and around two blocks down the street. I would like to know how a 39-week pregnant woman must queue for seven hours without sitting.
I’m so disgusted what this country has come to and if you don’t have the resources to pay somebody the extra fee to do it for you, you are a nobody and might as well not exist. Sies, Kempton Park has become lower than a third class country in everything. My advise to people, stop paying, take out a policy for unemployment and stuff this government.
