This morning when I woke up I thought it to be just another lovely day, watering my garden and go for a walk.
Today it did not go as planned. When I strolled out my gate I saw this hideous shack, probably the biggest threat to house value today, in my neighbour’s backyard. And on top of that, the house has been rented out to several families.
I have reported this to the normal service number for Ekurhuleni but they refused to help and said I must phone the emergency number. After phoning a couple of times I eventually heard a voice on the other side.
She took my details, gave me a reference number and promised nothing. Apparently they are going to send out a traffic officer (I do not have a traffic issue) to come and see what is going on.
I then asked if it would be possible for them to give me a report once they have taken action, so I know what the result was. The lady then said they would not contact me unless they needed more info.
I think this is the start of the end of our property value.
I have already had my alarm outside go off several times at night, my telephone/internet cable has been destroyed and now this in the past several days.
I wonder if you would assist me in publishing this or advise me on how to proceed to get this out to the Kempton Park community.
